Paladin Application Empty Paladin Application

Greetings!

Spotted the thread on the forums and i've been meaning to reroll for quite some time now. Loved levelling with a new group of people to play with and it's even better with an aim for end-game with WOTLK

Name: John
Age: 18
Nationality: English

Personal Information (Write a little about yourself):
I'm a First Year Network Computing student where i study in Wigan as part of a Sunderland University course. Enjoying it so far, the workload is comfortable enough to support my playing time. Aside from playing WoW, My hobbies are playing other Videogames (Recently, Call of Duty 4, Assassins Creed and old favourite Counter-Strike 1.6), Socialising (Pretty vague, but i do like going out. Smile), Going out to Gigs, Watching the football (Everton fan. Wink) and just kicking back and relaxing (Lazy yet oh so fun. Is it a hobby? Surprised)

As for WoW, well it's been a part of my gaming life now for over two and a half years. I've met a lot of people ingame but haven't really achieved much ingame which i'll go into in the next section. Had a couple of breaks to play Counter-Strike competitively and just general breaks inbetween. My first character i levelled (to 60) was a Warrior, which was interesting for the first few months or so until i met the Warlock class. I've had the Warlock as my main for over two years now, mainly talking with friends, joining in with instance runs and hitting up the Battlegrounds. The last character i levelled was actually a character on a brand new realm at the time. It was a Night Elf Priest, my first Alliance character and i loved the idea of playing the Healer. She currently stands at Level 60, and a lot of the people i levelled with her had gone inactive, left wow or migrated servers, so the magic had died.

Class your wanting to roll and why:
I've been wanting to play Paladin for a while because i basically love healing. For me, the healing mentality appeals to me more than that of the DPSer. "The idea of keeping 5 bars up is more interesting than getting one down". To me, the Paladin is a brand new class, somewhat complex but seemingly fufilling and i believe it'll be a Paladin that will be my new Warlock. The Paladin seems like a great support class and it's that kind of job that makes me want to play the game. I've had experience as a healer and it's the healing experience i crave!

Reason for re-rolling:
I feel that if i start afresh and wipe the slate clean with a brand new batch of folks i think i will enjoy the game a lot more. Levelling my priest with a lot of new people was one of the best experiences i've had playing the game, and the oppurtunity to reroll and experience the end-game content in the Wrath of the Lich King is too good to pass up. Being able to get to Level 80 with the rest of the guild would feel like we had achieved something together and form a good guild relationship that is insanely hard to find these days. In the two and a half years i've played this game, i haven't achieved much in it. I want to be able to see the game as it was designed, have the fun of playing endgame with a brand spanking new class for me.

Previous raiding experience:
Like i said previously, i've not had much achievements. A lot are Pre-TBC! (Spent most of my time in the Battlegrounds.) However, on my characters, the Raid Experience i have had -

Onyxia - Done
Molten Core - Up to Majordomo
Blackwing Lair - Razorgore
Zul'Gurub - Up to Hakkar
Anh'Qiraj 20 - Cleared
Karazhan - Up to Maiden (Helping out a friends guild)

Play times:
My play times vary on studies, however they're not restricting. (All times GMT)

Sun - All day pretty much, however some days 6:00pm - 2:00am (Day off)
Mon - 3:00pm - 2:00am (Day off)
Tue - 3:00pm - 2:00am
Wed - 5:00pm - 2:00am
Thu - 5:00pm - 2:00am (Sometimes later.) (Tend to go out)
Fri - 3:00pm - 2:00am (Sometimes later.) (Day off) (Tend to go out)
Sat - All day pretty much, however some days 6:00pm - 2:00am (Day off) (Tend to go out)

Misc:
Capable of the usual guild stuff. Frequently visit forums. Like to frequent class forums and guides, keep up to date on class news and specs. IRC, Teamspeak and Ventrilo Capable.

Of course, the times do vary, it doesn't mean i sit in front of the computer 11-12 hours a day solely playing WoW! Very Happy

Anyway that's all. I'm hoping it'll all go smoothly and we'll get to levelling pretty soon!

Regards,
John.

Hello John,

Thanks very much for your application was a really good read, im afraid however being an Everton fan rules out any chance of being accepted Razz

On a serious note im more than happy to take you on-board you seem like you really understand the concept of the guild and have a great attitude for what were setting out to acheive. So please add to our discussion forums and make yourself feel at home.Welcome.
